SSL RETURN / REFUND POLICY

Be advised of the following. When placing an order through the Security Shutter website, or by other means, you agree to the terms & conditions of the sale stated in this document. 

  • When “We” & “Us” are used in this document Security Shutter Ltd. is referenced. 

  • You” & “your” refers to the entity making the purchase. 

This policy applies to purchases made in countries, including but not limited to: Canada, United States, United Kingdom, European Union countries, Australia, New Zealand, Middle East, Asia, Africa & South America, as listed on our website.

RETURNS – ELIGIBILITY & CONDITIONS

SSL accepts returns for both defective & non-defective products, subject to the conditions below:

  • Products must be new, unused, and in original condition

  • Returns must be requested within thirty (30) days of delivery

  • Custom-built products may be subject to additional limitations due to their made-to-order nature

All returns must be approved by SSL in advance. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. *For return authorization, questions, or clarification, please contact us.

EXCHANGES

SSL accepts exchanges where applicable, subject to product availability & approval. Exchange requests must meet the same condition & timing requirements as returns.

RETURN METHOD & FEES

  • Return Method: By mail only

  • Return Shipping: Customer responsibility

  • Restocking Fee: 25% of the product price, unless otherwise stated in writing

  • Original shipping, handling, duties & taxes are non-refundable

Products returned without authorization, outside the return window, or not in acceptable condition may be refused.

REFUND PROCESSING

Approved refunds will be processed within thirty (30) days of SSL receiving & inspecting the returned product.

Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment, less any applicable restocking fees, shipping costs, or deductions permitted under this policy.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS & WARRANTY OVERLAP

If a product is believed to be defective, the issue may fall under SSL’s Warranty Policy rather than this Return / Refund Policy.

Security Shutter Ltd. will make every reasonable effort to evaluate and fulfill valid warranty claims professionally & within a reasonable timeframe. No other warranties, obligations, or guarantees—whether spoken, implied, or expressed—are valid beyond those outlined in SSL’s written warranty documentation.

The purchaser is not entitled to reimbursement or compensation beyond what is expressly stated as a covered warranty item.
